Median salary is about 55K. A reduction of 1% is about 550 bucks with which I have a better Christmas for my family or upgrade a vacation or whatever. A 2% reduction in work (assuming I work 8 hours/day) means I work just under 10 minutes less per day.

I'd argue the 550 loss would be more noticeable than 10 minutes/day.

I stated it the way I intended it. It is not a linear concept.
And I would fully expect different people to have different answers at different thresholds - it's situational.
And it proves that we all know that quality of life is not directly related to dollars in the wallet.
It's such a simple and undeniable truth that it's crazy to even have to have the debate.

It does not prove that and I think you don't understand what "directly related to" means. You seem to be confusing perfect correlation with correlation.

Direct means positively related while indirect means negatively related.

Deep down most sensible people want that. The silent democrats that see what's happening and can't take it anymore like Manchin we will welcome to the team.

No. You tout “science” in one breath and then deny it in another. Gender/sex isn’t a personal choice for someone whether they have a mental disorder or not.
