President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Her stance would have carried much more weight, if she had quit the 2024 Harris Campaign, and then left the Democratic Party BEFORE election day. Doing this now, gives the appearance that her decision was made because she wants to be on the winning team, rather than being a decision made as a matter of principle.

Would she still have left the Democratic Party, if Harris had won? There is no way to know, but I tend to doubt it. In all likelihood, this woman would be preparing herself for a position in the Harris Administration right now, if Harris had won.

Radical leftists begin to gravitate to Biden's clemency move ...

From the article:

"The President’s decision to commute the death sentences of 37 individuals on federal death row is a historic and groundbreaking act of compassion that will save lives, address the deep racial disparities in our criminal legal system, and send a powerful message about redemption, decency, and humanity," Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., said in a statement on Monday.

Democrats had been mounting pressure on Biden to use his clemency powers after the controversial and broad pardon he granted to his son, Hunter Biden, just weeks before he was expected to be sentenced on federal gun charges.

"Once again, Democrats side with depraved criminals over their victims, public order, and common decency," Cotton wrote on X.

"Democrats can’t even defend Biden’s outrageous decision as some kind of principled, across-the-board opposition to the death penalty since he didn’t commute the three most politically toxic cases. Democrats are the party of politically convenient justice."

That's pretty cynical.

Well done!

So as usual Puddinhead’s death penalty pardons conflict with prior stances. In his self touted 1994 crime bill he advocated for expanding the offenses for which capital punishment could be applied.

1994 Puddinhead was still an idiot but he was coherent. 2020 Puddinhead’s campaign platform included abolishment of the federal death penalty. Once taking office a moratorium on federal executions was declared by Garland however over the four years since taking office Puddinhead has been quiet on this until the recent pardons.

So as usual this is a flip flop by Puddinhead from prior views. Changes in views can occur but it’s also clear Puddinhead hasn’t been making the day to day decisions by and large as the WSJ reported.

So as far as I’m concerned just like all the other major decisions in recent months it’s likely Puddinhead didn’t come up with it on his own but rather his handlers moulded his views on these pardons.
