President Trump’s Signature Dance Takes Over the NFL

My favorite thing the NFL does is that they put those little nuggets of wisdom right there on the back of their helmets.

Choose love.

End Racism.

Ya know I was watching a game the other day and I was seriously considering choosing hate and starting racism. But then I saw the helmets of the long snapper and the 4th string TE and I totally turned my life around.

Thanks NFL.

How is it not the same? One bothers you personally and you like the other?
Trump is President Elect. He will be providing genuine entertainment for the next 4 years. Get used to it. Embrace it. It will be fun to watch and likely won't have an adverse effect for you. I know it won't for me. The Democrats tried to force an unelectable candidate to the people. A party that has abandoned the middle class working man for the special interest fringe of the party. The Republican party is dysfunctional in Congress, at least in the House. Before you know it, 4 years will have passed and you will living life the same anyway

A few years ago I was going to kill my neighbor but on the way over I saw a Coexist sticker on this stoner’s car. It stopped me in my tracks. I went straight home and put the machete back in the shed.

Liar. It's under the driver side seat just in case you get pissed again.

Why did I get this spiel as a response to what I posted? I didn't even gripe about Trump, I just said it's the same thing as athletes supporting the left

I don't think it's intended to convince you not to kill people with a machete. I think maybe the point of the message to Americans is don't pick a side and help them demolish another side.

Lol so NFL players doing the double jerk off as a 5 second celebration dance is the same as Lebron waxing on politics? Ok.

Yeah, you're on top of it. I misplaced this post. It was meant for someone else. I actually noticed it right after I posted it but was grilling so I kind of blew off correcting it. It wouldn't be much of a mental strain to figure it out who I was actually responding to with my comments

Another feel good story. I've chosen hate and racism for so long until I watched an NFL game a few years ago. Those messages of love from 1%ers changed my heart.

Or, y’know, it’s bigger than Trump. Maybe, just maybe, it’s a middle finger to all the woke, politically correct bs that has taken over sports, entertainment etc. and people finally don’t care to have fun and do what they want without being cancelled.

Maybe it’s a shift in culture. I’m sure the usual suspects will disagree. We shall see.

It's not that deep outside of politics. It's just a silly celebratory dance that's trending.

It's an anomaly that a politician started a fad, but it's not a culture shift.

The biggest reason is it's not a protest or any kind of political statement (unless you think it inherently implies Trump endorsement). I think the Gateway Pundit is slurping themselves and trying to conflate it as such.

It's just a celebratory dance athletes are using to celebrate at times they've always celebrated. It will be forgotten in a few weeks.

I think this dance is interesting..because there is absolutely no pressure to comply...with the kneeling etc...the societiel and business pressure was immense, hence social justice warriors were born.

Lol. I didn't know "shut up and dribble" only applied to protests. The OG "shut up and dribble" was simply for "talking politics" so I don't think you know what you're talking about and no idea why it would make a difference.

The Trumpy people want it both ways. It's exciting athlete support of Trump and also just a dance fad that doesn't mean anything.

👌
If you try really hard to believe a forced narrative you can be offended by that, but in reality I'm just saying "OK".

Village People have been crowd/stadium music for 45+ years now. Trying to insist that athletes copying the silly jiggle Trump did is inherently political is as pearl clutching as saying a 17yr old kid copying 'The Program' with "Kill Everybody" is thuggish behavior.

I mean sure, "shut up and tackle" can apply to Bosa, but that was applicable before now.

I maybe could have been slightly clearer with my example of it applying to protests. I meant the "shut up and dribble" treatment applied to more than copying a celebratory gesture. As in like actually taking a political stance........

But afterwards, Pulisic stressed ..... “not a political dance.”

“It’s not a political dance
. It was just for fun. I saw a bunch of people do it and thought it was funny, so I enjoyed it.”
“I’ve seen everyone do it,” Bowers told USA Today ......Jon Jones did it. I like watching UFC so I saw it, and thought it was cool.” Raiders' Brock Bowers and other NFL players celebrate TDs with Trump-inspired dance moves
important to remember that the Trump Dance is just the latest in a long series of victory dances and celebration moves that athletes have likely executed for eons. 'Trump Dance' Goes Viral As Sports Stars Mimic President-Elect
The "Donald Trump Dance" is in no way a political statement, as players are simply showcasing an imitation or parody of the dance. NFL Makes Decision Regarding Punishing Players for Doing Donald Trump Dance
"There's no issue with a celebratory dance ..... NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told ....
"Trump dance" is not considered a political statement by the league. NFL has no issue with 'Trump dance' celebrations
