President Trump's Cabinet?

Rand Paul voted to confirm Sessions. Libertarians were freaking out but I withheld judgment. Jack Hunter wrote an article explaining Rand was fearful of Trump picking someone worse (from a civil libertarian perspective) and he wanted to pick his battles.

Well, Rand Paul wrote an Op-ed against Abrams and looks like Trump is nixing that nomination. Not sure I agree with Paul voting for Sessions, but picking his battles seems to be working.

Trump also has a lot of respect for the Pauls. It's like the Carson-Trump bromance.

Michael Flynn's denial of having discussed the removal of Russian sanctions prior to Trump's inauguration with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak was apparently bull s***.

The Democrats prefer control over everything now days (it's been a habit for 8 long years) that when that control has been taken away they don't know how to act in a civilized world. All the Democrats have left now is acting out their hate for all republicans black or white.

Dems will lose more seats in the next election too. People are tired of their games.

I'll never understand this mentality. It's the same thing with the nfl players not going to the white house. Why are you giving up an opportunity to discuss your concerns? Instead, you alienate your cause by acting petty and childish. Stupid people are stupid.

Acosta is a major upgrade over Puzder. Easily one of the top three or four cabinet selections by trump.

Appears to have a pretty good background according to Fox:

  • He currently is dean of Florida International University College of Law and chairman of U.S. Century Bank.
  • Prior to becoming the dean at FIU, Acosta served as the first Hispanic assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department under the George W. Bush administration and was U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida.
  • He served as a member of the National Labor Relations Board.
  • The Miami native graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Economics, as well as from Harvard Law School.
  • He practiced law at the firm of Kirkland & Ellis before teaching at the George Mason School of Law.
  • He also serves or has served on the Florida Innocence Commission, Florida Supreme Court’s Commission on Professionalism, Florida Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission and the American Bar Association’s Commission for Hispanic Rights and Responsibilities.

Florida Innocence Commission? Apparently they haven't met Florida Man.
