I just wanted to add to your point. I watched the Vandy game replay on the SEC Network over the weekend. The announcer said they measured Worley's "fastball" at 51MPH before the game and, said in short, anything over 50MPH would be considered an NFL arm. They said Bray was at 55. He may just have the tools and we have not seen them.
I like Worley. I like all 3 QB's.
However jugs gun measurements like that really don't tell how a guy throws the deep ball. I know that may not have been your point... but it may just mean that Worley has the ability to drill it in short.
Again, I like him but he's not a guy who is great at the deep ball like Bray, Shuler, or even Tee.
Went to Saturdays open scrimmage and here are some nuggets I saw.
WR- 1st time in years I have seen the WR take the punch to press coverage, what a good way to control the pressing DB than to take the punch to them. Croom and North were monsters in these situations, In the past our WR usually was trying to avoid the pressing DB only to get jammed.
Exactly what I am talking about, I saw WR bring the pressure to the DB not waiting on the DB to try to jam the WR, like livefaith said UF plays a lot of Press Coverage and usually our WR are jam out of their routes, with our WR looking to jam the DB 1st changes the game in favor to the WR's.
Even when we may be better than Florida is, we will have to play every play like it is life and death.
If we take one play off, they will make a come back on us.
They sorta remind me of a monster in a scary movie, you think they are dead, but if you take a second off, they will come back to life again.
the one good thing we have in our favor though is that this team will not doudt that we can beat them and get scared in the 4th quarter.
Very correct. In college you can make contact with a receiver (not holding) until the ball is released from the passers hand. Once it's in the air no more touchy.

QB- I saw Worley throw a dart 45-50 yards, he has increase his am strength- day and night from last year and his quickness has increased, I think most fans will be impressed with his retreaded body.

I don't disagree because it was thrown on a rope, I guess I was a bit surprise he even thought he could make this throw. Yes he needs to trust in putting more air under the ball and letting the receiver go catch it, in the SEC he will not always get away with that type of throw, where as Dobbs has that ability to air the ball out
so I can shove you all the way down the field as long as the ball hasn't been thrown? AJ can knock a crossing route TE to the ground 10 yards down the field if the ball is still in the qb's hands?
That just doesn't sound right man. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but if you are correct, I'm getting 6'3 220 lb guys all over the field and just having them knock the receiver's out of bounds or on the ground. We should have 2 headhunters that just crush wr's running their routes.
I don't think contact beyond 5 yards is allowed at all by rule, but then again, I haven't seen a rule book.
