Ok, my dream of owning a pro sports team came true a few months ago. A buddy of mine and myself bought a pro indoor football team. They are the Springfield Stallions and they play in the CIFL. Springfield, Illinois that is. We are pretty excited. Please check out our website, Springfield Stallions Professional Indoor Football Our season does not begin until March 24 as we open on the road at Chicago.

I informed our head coach the other day that he is to start contacting former Vols ASAP!!! WHERE'S TEE AT???? We need a mobile QB with experience who can throw on the run.

If anybody lives near Springfield, Illinois, love to have you for a game. Vol fans are always welcome! indyvol will be there with a hooters girl on each arm and a beer in each hand!:)

GO VOLS
GO STALLIONS

I thought about buying a pro football team. Then I realized I needed money to do that (lots of).

I found a Morehouse College in Atlanta, but there is no mention of Tee Martin as a coach. Can't seem to find if there is another Morehouse out there.

Tee Martin is most definitely one of the coaches there. He was up to visit the Birmingham Big Orange Club a few months ago. I am not sure how you could go about contacting him other than just contacting the athletic dept. there.

You know who else you should contact if he is interested? Alex Walls. He is currently the kicker for the Birmingham Steeldogs and says he is in the best shape of his life.

I hope you do better than the Huntsville hockey team here in the Tennessee Valley. They started off as the Channel CAts; changed owners and became the Tornado. Went defunk; came back as the Havoc a couple of years ago. I submitted to the name the team website. I don't know why they didn't pick the one I liked " the puck yous." I got the idea from a hockey team in Georgia "the Macon Whoppi".

I remember the Huntsville Blast from when I was a kid ... was that a predecessor as well?

First page of the Media Guide has him listed as Quarterbacks Coach: http://www.morehouse.edu/athletics/pdf/2006 Football Media Guide.pdf

Unfortunately no contact info

Thanks! I will definately try to get in contact with the football department on Monday or Tuesday. Its a long shot, but you never know.

Walls would not be back, be nice to get in contact wtih him as well. We do have a kicker signed who kicks 50 yard field goals with his left foot and also turn around and do it with his right foot.

We have a few Illinois players that are going to sign soon and one from Mizzou.

Didn't they use to play the Cherokees when the C'kees were around in Knoxville?

We need to have a Volsboard Day at one of our home games. We also have a store in the mall in Springfield and I have had quite a few Vol fans come into the store to shop and buy season tickets. Always good to talk Vols sports!

Sounds good. I wish you well with it, and let us know if there is anything any of us can do for you from down here.

Thank you! Any contact info for former Vols would help greatly. We are signing some former Big Ten players who were great layers in college. Be nice to add some southern talent as well to the mix.

Don't remember the Blast. An old patient of mine helped form the TN Valley Vipers football team. I've never been to a game, but I know people who do and really enjoy it. I think they've done pretty good. A kid who used to help me and my dad haul hay was on that original team. But the key to success is win baby. I've heard the guys at the small town teams like Huntsville only make about 30 K a year, but I haven't heard lately. Is this true?
