What sort of answer would be appropriate? How about "we got beat by a better team today, back to the drawing board"?
Or "we just didn't play very well today"?
Or "we just weren't the team we thought we were"?
Or "they just outplayed and out-coached us in every phase"?
It seems the explanation is never enough, there always has to be a dark, brooding reason: discontent in the locker room, boosters usurping the administration, players usurping the coaches, whatever...
This, to me, is a pretty cut and dry case of Bama being the better team. LSU was very lucky to win the first time as they were actually outplayed (or seemed to be by my "eye ball test").
As a UT grad I actually dislike Bama more than LSU, but I don't see how there is any other hidden explanation for this loss...
