All you have to do is use Google to find out that PV is lying. I just googled both of them and found a mix of good and bad + ads in each case. Not a single negative autosuggest on Trump. Weird, right?

I watched the video and didn’t hear any mention of autosuggest results.

I understood him to be talking about search results.

He didn't specify and I checked both search results and autosuggest. His website is the #1 organic result. His twitter account is second. Wikipedia is 3rd. Oh, the humanity!

How much do you wanna bet PV doesn't release the whole interview? They don't want us to have full context for the comments, so they won't. They've done this move a dozen times.

In fairness, there's a lot of negative news about Trump so that is what will come up in a search.
You are probably just trying to be funny, but it's true. Not everyone is going to have an even balance of positive and negative information to sift through. If you run a search on Jeffrey Epstein, you will get links to articles that are mostly negative. There doesn't have to be something afoul with an algorithm when the internet search of a bad person leads to mostly negative information.

If you're looking at news results, then yeah. Most of us acknowledge that the MSM is mostly biased to the left, ipso facto, you should expect to see bias in those search results. It doesn't mean that the government should be looking into taking action against Google.

So you’re saying if the biased media writes mostly (90+%) negative stories about Trump that means he’s a bad person?

Or you’re saying the media are arbiters of truth and there are no positive stories regarding Trump or his presidency?

TBF, his twitter account being the second result seems like legit evidence that Google is biased against him. Dude should want that buried in like page 75,000.

In more fairness, I just googled Joe Biden and it was all positive, did not see anything about the Hinter issues

I assume you're looking at news results? Everything in news results is fresh and that story is over a week old. Everything on page 1 for me is from the last 18 hours. Is there a specific new article you were expecting to see?

You must be correct. I just entered Joe Biden and hit search.

Don't get me wrong, there are going to be biased results, I'm just trying to clarify where the bias comes from. I work in SEO, which means I've spent the last 8 years trying to understand and cater to search engines, and not a lot of people understand them, so it's easy for PV to mislead people. PV does have some truth, and some of this stuff is definitely concerning, but I'm much more concerned by potential government cures to tech illness, than I am the actual illness itself.

Surely you could find some positive stuff if you throw "charity" into the search..
