Crawford will start Either at RT or LT. He battled Mincey all year for the position.
At WR TN will likely add 1 if not 2 WRs from portal. They'll be ahead of freshmen.
Elijah Herring will be in rotation with Beasly, Jujuan and Pili.
Burrell will start at one CB with Hadden/Turnage holding another side. God forbid if we have 2 freshman corners in SEC play.
Christian Harrison will play at Safety alongside Slaughter. McCullough and Turrentine in rotation.
Cam Miller is a WR so far.
Milton won't be here to start. It will be portal guy.

Pretty sure Cam Miller has been practicing at S. Unless I missed him switching back to WR.

I agree with you that he isn’t SEC level Corner but he is likely best we got until someone better shows up. He is good with playing soft coverage & not giving up disaster plays. A lot of SC Rattler 3 and long & 4 and long would have not been first down with him. I hope he improves to be more reliable. He is never going to be elite or even very good.

Yeah, I'm still pissed about the CB play all season. I don't know if it's coaching or lack of confidence. But, all of our CBs were playing 10 yards off every play, then back-pedaling, and only sometimes making the tackles. I like CBs that play aggressive and have catch-up speed if they do get beat.

It's because of the lack of speed at the position. They are afraid of them getting beat deep

Plus if we could get the same unit back there and communicating consistently. Did we ever play 2 games in a row with same starters at DBs. It was one injury after another their not that great but all the different lineups hurt where we could least afford it.

I would think Webb and Seldon would be the slot guys after Squirrel and Merill ahead of Nimrod.

No Juwan Mitchell? Last i heard he's coming back. Also Elijah Herring behind Perry seems weird to me, given Herring got real defensive snaps this season.

Also, just not realistic for two freshman to start at corner. I believe they'll play, but Turnage was actually pretty solid at least. Burrell will most likely be starting somewhere as well. I hope Slaughter starts at NB. I still think McDonald might be best served at WLB. That would give us a big athleticism boost at LB. I think we can put enough pieces together to have a decent secondary next year.
