Is the punishment for the mens program cheating? There has to be some explanation for this. Even Ga, who we finished ahead of in the regular season, blew them out twice on their home field, and just beat them for the 3rd time to make us 3-0 against them for the season. Now how do they get a 6 and we get a 14? Someone help my confusion here.
Can someone tell me the possible projected dates that UT would be playing or at least the first date/time UT will be playing? I've tried googling but a lot of these sites are blocked for me at work. :cray: At least VN isn't.

It smells like BS to me and my nose isn't all that good. Not the first time a team has been completely surprised with NCAA seeding in a tournament. If RPI is a factor in seeding, is it not a factor in national ranking throughout the year?

The poster who stated something like they basically just use the RPI was exactly right.
Here's what they went by, I believe. I don't think the SEC tournament even figured in the calculations-the pairings were done long before the LVs won the SECC. They simply used the RPI of May 11-it looks similar except for a few (Texas). It made it easy on the NCAA "selection" committee, and kept the status quo. If they could have the same 5-6 teams get to the finals every year they would think all's right with the world, probably.

BTW, one would think by the seeding Tennessee played all their league games in the MAC instead of the SEC.
