Proof the CFP is about the "best" teams not the "most deserving"

If only the fools had an 16 team playoff, we wouldn’t be having to hear any of this crap.

At this rate, CFL playoffs will stretch into February.

6 teams. Maybe 3-4 top-ranked and then any conference winners or others just out of the top three or four. 3-6 and 4-5 playoffs, then get playing.

if this was a CFP game with Rodemaker at QB it would be competitive. Stop with the fake news narrative please and thank you.

FSU was robbed. Winning games doesn’t matter. Period end of story.
no it wouldn't have been. we saw that FSU against Florida and Louisville and they looked pedestrian as hades.

Part 2

Finish this once and for all.

Do you think FSU was 1 of the 4 best teams after conference championship weekend?

Don’t answer w/ more deserving. Don’t give me undefeated or Some answer about Auburn almost winning or some answer that includes “well if that’s the case Uga is one of the best.”

Just Yes or No. It’s that simple. And it is that simple.

No

I didn't think they were one of the 4 best teams going into the weekend and I'm even more sure now

Those were the 2 best semifinal games we've ever had. Kudos to the committee for that

this year and last year are the only two years without at least an 18 point win in the semifinals.
Last year had an absolute destruction in the actual Championship though.

How can it get worse? An undefeated power 5 champ gets left out or something?
The reason Auburn gets brought up is because they were undefeated AND a good team. if that Auburn team had looked as terrible as FSU did at the end of their season they wouldn't get brought up. FSU getting left out was not a bad thing when there were other better schools.

I’m glad at least one person can respond with an honest answer.

The reason Auburn gets brought up is because Oklahoma got their arses smacked in front of the college football world and USC had the title taken away for paying their heisman’s family.

FSU had a better offense this year than Auburn’s run only attack. Their defense was probably more talented than Auburn’s too. You just can’t hit people like they used to.

Yep, but they should have won it. I guess I over estimated the progress of their QB. Based on what I saw Monday, they may be no better than 4-5 in the SEC next year. They still recruit very well, but the old master may have lost some of his glitter.

Media and talking heads have greatly exagerrated Milroe's improvement. He's better than he was early in the year, but not as much better as advertised.
Still very average on intermediate throws and reading a defense.

I would take 04 Auburn over 23 FSU every day of the week.

FSU played basically their entire 2nd string vs UGA's mostly 1st string. Anyone who thought this wouldn't be a blowout was fooling themselves.

If Bama played Ty Simpson and almost their entire 2nd string offense/defense vs UGA, they would have gotten trounced by 40+ as well.
Yeah, Georgia does not suffer fools gladly.
