Just said Tennessee looked like a top-10 team and "absolutely" became the favorite for the SEC East. Granny Clampett dissented on the favorite nod, but he also said not to put us in the Hall of Fame, yet (whatever that means).

Yep, it's refreshing to see the "analysts" spend a decent amount of time praising the Vols. What a night.

As much love as they've passed out, they DIDN'T nominate Hardesty's run for "game changing performance". They DID nominate the one handed catch by the kid from La Tech even though they LOST. :blink:

It's hilarious hearing Lou Holtz say he tried get "Shhh:birgits_giggle: avus" to be his D cord.

Corso was saying that Cal could still go on to win the NC. He said that Tennessee was the toughest team in the toughest environment that Cal will have to play and Kirk said "even better than USC?" and Corso didn't say anything...

Earlier tonight, in the excitement of the moment, I asked for the vote on the gameday show about who would win the game and couldn't remember Kirk's name. Just watched the sportscenter show and Kirk was giving great respect to the Vols. The man has a handle on football. Of course dingleberry Corso doesn't get it. No wonder he got fired from Indiana.....

It's hard to argue that, they both deserve it. One without the other wouldn't be uhh, ummm, well, you know what I mean.

5 catches for 182 yards and 2 TD's is a pretty decent day for sure.

I think its hilarious cause some of these guys were dogging tennessee and basically gave up on em, in the pre-season real fans that know tennessee football knew they would be back on top, but i even read on fox sports friday night that "tennessee is a shade better then temple" i bet that writer feels dumber then jeff tedford and the bad news bears

a shade better than temple? What kind of doo doo chasin booty freak would say some crap like that? I was dog plenty of times this off season for rooting for tennessee but i still showed my pride and passion fo the team. Dude i cant wait till we play vandy. its goin to be fun.
