Props to Bilas

They are just hammering Mike Slive and his decision to suspend Pearl for the first eight conference games, saying that it wasn't his call at all. That he was overstepping his bounds. Haha, awesome.

Not sure how many listened to jay bilas just a second ago during the game but it sounded very ominous to me. Is there really a legit chance that the NCAA will end Pearl?!

to UT. Even the announcer said Slive shouldn't have Pearl sit out 8 games. So what we will win the 8 games. And i think Pearl comes back against Kentucky. Seems to me the refs are calling it one way and we are still winning.

My fiance and I were just talking about this! I loved the comment on the Pitt player - "Come on! That was an obvious fake! The referee has to see that."

The ratio has been awful and the fouls pretty lame. But I liked that too, he flew back like he got his by a bazooka! Ha

Jay did our game vs Kansas and was very insightful about our young team without being overly complimentary to Kansas. Bilas is becoming one of my favorite color guys for NCAA hoops.

I also thought his points on Pearl and Slive were very well stated too.

he also said "This doesnt say that Pitt is overrated. It says Tennessee is this good."

Jay Bilas was letting Mike Slive know what was on his mind. I think he talked too highly about tennessee. If he keeps it up, he'll definitely be fired from ESPN.

Jay Bilas was not loving on Tennessee or Bruce Pearl, not even a little bit.

He was hating on Mike Slive for doing the NCAA's job.

Bilas even commented that if a player were to have lied to the NCAA the way Pearl did, the player would be suspended permanently.

This was the most unbelievably biased broadcast towards Tennessee that I have ever seen. Bilas was all over the Vols...but it was deservedly so.

I love how Bilas and the other guy pointed out how the Pitt fans were complaining on calls, but most "not have seen the 30 foul shots Pitt took"...along those lines.

Great game though.
