Props to Palardy.

More like the #1 rated kicker he was rated to be coming out of HS. Coaching really does make a difference.

Some kickoffs are a little short but much deeper on average this year. With the touchback to 25 yard line rule he has put a few at the 1 or 2 or a few yards deep by design I believe.

Agree with you though, very consistent so far and pleased with almost every punt.

Want to see him do it in crunch time or game winning field goal though before my anxiety about our kicking really lightens up

I know that he can kick it through the endzone, have seen that a few times, but the man really gets a work out for the Vols. Against WK I thought he was getting a bit tired with all the kicking he was doing.

As a side note.. who is our #2 kicker? Is he any count? I did see him warming up with Palardy before the WK game but he wasn't really doing too much.

Thanks!

Would have been Bullock or Brodus place kicking and Darr punting most likely for backups

The depth chart has Bullock as the number two at placekicker and kickoffs, and it has Darr at number two for punts.

I guess they've got Brodus back on the couch if they need him.
