Its the best trauma center closest to Lawrence county. He wouldn't survive if taken to Athens or Decatur, trust me..

not to make light of the situation, or try and use this tragedy as an excuse to sell yourself, but if this kid was flooded with letters/cards from any team, it would probably have a huge impact. i know if i was in his shoes, and i received a ton of letters from a particular school, it would do more than peak my interest.

hope it's not that serious..

I did a quick search of the web and did not see any updates to the story. Does anyone here have a scoop on his condition today?

There is no patients. Its just a building where senior citizins get to together and play games and stuff. People can also rent the place for parties.:birgits_giggle:

I dearly hope that this fine young man recovers to become a VOL. Was Nick Saban at the party? I understand that he does not like potential recruits coming to make UT visits.

This young man was shot in the abdomen and not in the chest. Kid seems to being better. I hope he recovers. Seems to be a good kid.

The way I understand it, he already has an offer from UT. If CLK wants to really make a splash, he would go visit him in the hospital, unless there is a dead period right now and that would be a violation. This should be an exception if he is visiting the kid in the hospital, IMO.

if kiffin visited the kid simply because he is a kid who is in the hospital and not a recruit, that would mean a lot to the young man and his family
