Or Haiti.
Interesting how all of this seems to be shaking up in that region all of a sudden.

I keep telling you the Haitian situation isn't newsworthy enough to be included. How many times have they flipped governments in the last 30 years as it is?

It's OK folks, the Biden Admin is on it like a hawk. They've already pin-pointed the root cause of the protests....COVID!

Julie Chung, the acting assistant secretary for the department’s Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, posted, "Peaceful protests are growing in Cuba as the Cuban people exercise their right to peaceful assembly to express concern about rising COVID case/deaths & medicine shortage. We commend the numerous efforts of the Cuban people mobilizing donations to help neighbors."

State Department tweet tying COVID-19 to Cuban protests is criticized

the only thing unbelievable about this is that they left out Global Climate Change as a root cause

Freedom fighter going against corrupt police and US govt. Look at how many times they tried to charge her with something that stuck...
That's garbage and you know it. Using that train of logic the Confederacy were freedom fighters as well.

She was charged with all those counts after her arrest for the participation in the shootout with police that resulted in the death of that officer. People are often charged heavily/overcharged, they couldn't prove their cases in those counts so they were dismissed or she was not found guilty.

She and that movement are no different than racist white nationalists who've committed similar crimes. They're all POS or none of them are.

Certainly destabilization going on, the question is who benefits most from it?

China and businesses that are in bed with both China and the US.

Not joking but this could be a Hong Kong 2.0 scenerio.

China allows the us and allies to build the nation up and then come in after a few decades and take control sometime around 2055 to 2075.

If things don't change China will be openly controlling us by then.

They'd have had her if they could have filed multiple levels of charges like was done in the Derek Chauvin case. Overcharge to your heart's content because you can always get a hit on one of the multiple lesser degrees. Ingenious actually because you might get lucky and hit the lottery on one of the big charges while banking on a sure thing; DAs all over the land are probably had to change their Depends after that revelation.

Cuba’s president blames Washington for protests, says US sanctions responsible for shortages and ‘social unrest’

The Cuban president has hit out at the US, alleging it played a considerable role in the first major protests on the island in years by encouraging dissent and causing shortages with its blockade.

Cuba’s president blames Washington for protests, says US sanctions responsible for shortages and ‘social unrest’

Why, of course. Who else would that little island country blame for their own sh!tty dick-tator problems?

Trump says Biden must 'stand up' to Cuba and mocks Obama for watching baseball with Castro while regime 'imprisoned, beat, and killed the Cuban people' - as White House Dodges Question on whether COVID sparked huge protests

  • Former President Donald Trump pressed President Joe Biden to 'stand up' to the Cuban government in a statement sent out Monday
  • He mocked ex-President Barack Obama for attending a baseball game with Raul Castro in 2016 'while they imprisoned, beat, and killed the Cuban people'
Former President Donald Trump pressed President Joe Biden to 'stand up' to the Cuban government on Monday and mocked ex-President Barack Obama for attending a baseball game with Raul Castro 'while they imprisoned, beat, and killed the Cuban people.'

In a statement Trump pointed out that 'big demonstrations are breaking out in Cuba and Miami in protest of the Communist Cuban Government (although, today there are zero protesters in Cuba—you know what that means!)' Trump wrote.

'Don’t forget that Biden and the Democrats campaigned on reversing my very tough stance on Cuba,' he continued. 'Remember when Obama attended baseball games with Castros while they imprisoned, beat, and killed the Cuban people.'

Trump said he stood with the Cuban people '100 per cent' and urged Biden to act.

'Joe Biden MUST stand up to the Communist regime or—history will remember,' Trump said. 'The Cuban people deserve freedom and human rights! THEY ARE NOT AFRAID!'

Trump also mocked former President Barack Obama (left) for watching baseball with then Cuban President Raul Castro. Obama visited Cuba in 2016 as his administration tried to thaw relations with the Communist country
