Pruit has lost this team

Are fans are yo-yos. They dont know they want. I know what I want. I want patience.
Yes more patience... it has truly paid off for us... I’ve been told to be patient for 10 years... we have gone from kind of bad to an absolute joke... yes please tell me more about patience. Look I get it, most of the time patience is the answer, and I was game for that for many years... now I prepose we try something other than what has not worked for us. No I’m not calling for Pruitt’s head right now, but let’s not give the man 4 plus years if he is still showing he isn’t the man for the job like we have been doing.

I never saw that he "had" this team. They've yet to come out ready to play. We'll slog through another two years of this then pay his buyout and move on to the next coach in the bargain bin.
It's what we do..We're probably have our eye on Urban Meyer's Shoe shiner again.. I mean the Nick Saban errand boys haven't been working..

It's ridiculous to constantly blame our players for "lack of execution." Head coach Jeremy in-over-his-head Pruitt is the one getting paid millions for this. And yet he'll stand at that podium, act like a prick and all the goats will continue blindly carrying on with their love affair with this "real football coach." Nonsense.
Every new coach starts out dogging the players. The players are expected to be bad. They came from a losing environment. The coaches should adjust for this.

I'm confused.

We don't want a coach that claps and pats his guys on the back after a bad play, but we also don't want a coach that yells and kicks a board when his players are lost in their heads.

Our fan base is a conflicted mess. Maybe if we were a positive, cohesive unit it might rub off on the team.
Our fan base has never been the problem. Just dumb.

Well considering it’s still mostly Lyles roster, he never really had the team, not his team at least.
Lyle coached all the talent out of the team and then played kids based on how much their parents kissed his rear. This team never had a chance and this staff needs way more time to fix a worse situation than Dooley left with mentally weaker players.

Hard to blame Pruitt for a tight end fumbling thru the end zone.

What most Vol fans want is a way to buy Alabama’s success. What’s the word I’m looking for. Oh yeah. PROCESS. I would think after the last decade people would learn to be a little more patient than the first half of the first SEC game.
Being patient with Jones and Dooley paid huge dividends.

I knew the O line would struggle once sec play started. WVU destroyed the. UF has a wayyyyyyy superior d line. So why expect magic from the players. Then going for it on every 4th down is crazy. Then he loses his mind on them on the sidelines. Now it's a fumble and 1 play touchdown to open the half. 33-3. Pruit is a first year coach not realizing the team isn't loaded and expecting bama results. This year is over. And this will effect recruiting.

There are no clear leaders on this defense and looks like Chandler is the leader on offense
Pruitt has not lost the team. He never had them

This ought to be a doozy on how you spin this.

“I have said this a lot, I really think one of the first things how do you recruit? Do you recruit defensive players that play on offense? Those guys are used to having the ball in their hands. How many times on Saturday did a ball hit our hands? In the secondary I thought we should have had four interceptions. We didn’t. ... If they don’t do it [in high school], they’re probably not going to do it [in college]...You can coach and try to teach them the best you can on how to do it, [but] it seems like the guys who do it on Friday nights will do it on Saturdays.”

Talk like that must really inspire these guys to play with confidence.

So a quote is the reason our TE fumbled the ball into the end zone? Wow

One more WIN this season with Charlotte.. UK will kill us! Missouri will destroy us. Vandy will beat us. Don't even mention the Dogs, Auburn, Bama, or SC. Heck, after these we might not beat Charlotte?
