Pruitt has met with Freeze about OC position (Price)

I dont see Harrison Bailey committing to Tn with not knowing who is the OC. I also dont see him committing to Tn with a OC he has never heard of. All signs point to Freeze...imo
Or he just trusts Pruitt to make the right hire. I know I do.

Agree.

Kiffin's issues we're pretty scummy. I will say that Kiffin has had years and 3 different jobs with no major NCAA issues caused by him or any hostess-gate situation. I would say he has grown since his time here.

Or he's just getting better at it.

I want us to hire the best football coach and I think that’s Freeze. If we don’t, like Swain said, someone we play every year is going to.

Thanks for the reply Freak.

Believing that there is one perfect solution for most decisions is not very creative or logical.

I don't think Freeze will be happy being an OC for very long. This team does not need another coach going through the turnstile.

I am hoping that there is a better long-term solution.

Everything that glitters . . .

Not many OCs out there that doesn’t want a shot at being the head man. I want coaches so good schools are trying to hire them away every year.

Perfect solution? Freeze isn’t perfect but I think he’s the best football coach.

If your coaches are leaving then it means they did a great job. If Freeze kills it here and bolts in two years, I’m fine with that. It makes the position more attracive for the next hire.

there ain't nobody out there who can say he has beaten Nicky but this guy.

Whatta you waiting for?
Shhh...keep it down, there are others on various threads that will have none of this, they are all in on Chip Lindsey. Kinda baffles me because, with the talent they had, Auburn was ranked a solid 95th in total offense this year

If a coordinator is having great success, he will naturally attract suitors for higher positions. That's what we need. Even one or two seasons could make the difference.

If people aren’t trying to steal your coordinators every year they probably aren’t very good.

Yep, when coaches see that working for UT gets them HC jobs they’ll be lining up to replace the ones that leave.

I agree with that, but I don't think any of us want to be hiring an OC every year.
