I would back the brinks truck up to Pat Nix house. He could easily win a few titles with Hoover's talent. Plus he already knows how to beat Thompson.

I never disliked Pruitt, Hated when the whole cheating mess came out, but I always thought if he would've kept his hand off the Offense he would've won more.
Agree. Like many other Defense minded head coaches, if pruitt could have found an Offensive Coordinator he trusted 100% and kept his hands out of the offense, he would have won a lot more.
Who knows...maybe even the whole 'cheating scandal' would have never come to light either...we'll never know.

Pruitt actually tried here. He did what he did everywhere else he had been and got turned in bc of the politics at Tennessee. Some of the money that he cheated with went to pay medical bills of a certain recruit’s family. He did sue Tennessee but he also took up for them in the ncaa investigation. Wasn’t a fan of the hire at all bc of the deal that went down with Richt at Georgia but it’s more complicated than just thinking Pruitt was a reprehensible human being. He worked hard and cheated hard to try to make Tennessee better; problem was at Bama, Georgia and Florida State when he cheated he was used to everyone working to make sure he got away with it. The guy largely upended his career to try to put Tennessee on a level playing field with Bama.

For someone who tutored and coached under Satin, he sure didn't bring much of that winning program with him. I remember one post game presser where we had lost, and he basically---in so many words, blamed it on players recruited by former coach Butch. We also struggled defensively and that was his expertise as a coach.

That you misspelled Satan raises an eyebrow. It wasn't a keypunch error. That you refer to Saban in that childish and petty manner lowers your credibility to zero
