She was a counter-protester in Northeast Tennessee. She was yelling “white lives matter and white lives are better.” The video likely won’t go viral, but images and videos like this hurt the brand which is why the University’s athletic department came out with the statement urging fans to back the players. It time for us as fans to denounce those who continue to attempt to tarnish the brand with their foolishness.

Really? If worrying about "the brand" because some bigots might extrapolate (whatever you allege she's doing wrong) her to the aggregate, I'll sleep pretty soundly tonight.

It's like saying don't talk bad about Islamist fascism because the terrorists might get REALLY mad.

So, she's fired for saying bigoted things. Good, now let's start cleaning house of minorities saying the same things.

If only she'd burned some stuff, pulled down some monuments, and assaulted police and fellow citizens, she'd still be employed.

Those people in that last statement don’t work so they can’t be fired

I guess I was raised by the old mantra "Sticks and Stones may break my bones but Words will never hurt Me!"

I guess to the liberals and the left "Words & Feelings" are more dangerous than physical violence.
You seem more like the talk loud, carry a big stick, and claim your rights have been taken away type person.

Employers may legally terminate an employee at any time for any reason, or for no reason without incurring legal liability. It's Tennessee state law. Look into it before you open you mouth. She didn't and look what it got her. Fired for being a loudmouth racist.

Example: Colin Kaepernick. And yet many on the left react quite differently to him being out of an nfl job.

I get being politically correct is frowned upon by some, but it’s obvious that the UTAD doesn’t appreciate this lady wearing the orange and white.

As Tennessee head coaches, we are now calling on anyone who is a fan of the Vols and Lady Vols to meet and expect a standard in our daily walk. Let us all refuse to accept or tolerate the unjust treatment of our Black neighbors. Let us challenge those who attempt to justify, dismiss, ignore or explain away mistreatment of Blacks or any other person of color. Let us meet this standard head-on, out loud and outside our homes. Demand action that leads to change. Demand PROGRESS. This is a basic, human principle that, among some, seems to have become as endangered as basic human rights for Blacks in our communities.

Unified Statement from Tennessee Athletics Leadership - University of Tennessee Athletics

Basic human rights have become endangered to blacks in our communities? What a load of bullsh**...

How about caring for all people regardless of race?? It isn’t that difficult but I think some of you are afraid to not just emphasize black lives.

So Volunteers fans should just shut up and fall in lockstep with everything the leftists and the UTAD determines to be controversial or offensive all in the name of winning a few more games? I’ll burn and trash every piece of UT clothing and paraphernalia I own before I become a damn commie useful idiot.

Just give it to someone on the left. They like free stuff they don't work for.

Did a Karen get her Karen on again?

How about just denouncing racists regardless of what football team they have on their shirt.

I’ll put a hood on and chant white power while telling everybody my name was Nick Saban. That’s how much I love the Vols.

If you are taller than 5’2 no one will fall for it.

But thanks for the effort.

Keep that in mind the next time Trump fires someone instead of yammering on about it . If you answer to a boss , there’s always a chance you could be terminated .

He lost his job because he is not an NFL QB not because he took a knee during the national anthem. If he was good enough, he would have a job.

Doesn’t matter if it was his skill or being toxic. And yet the liberal warriors are still screeching about it and crying racism.

I don't think anyone cares if he has an NFL job, but after 3 years it still makes you and the rest of the Redhats screech. His protest was a huge success. To this day you probably still think he was protesting our military vets.

This is true..... they are pretty much willing to over look anything if it greatly increases their chances of winning games.

I am more worried about her soul than the Tennessee brand. She looked drunk. Maybe she will learn a lesson.

Oh please, there’s still plenty of people whining about kap being “blocked out“ of the nfl. I never thought he was protesting military vets. I saw a guy who claimed to be pushing for human rights, equality, justice, and yet walked around in Che Guevara shirts and sung Fidel Castro’s praises. He has zero credibility, and even today he still seeks to divide. Last we heard from him, he was claiming blacks shouldn’t celebrate Independence Day because it promotes white supremacy. The dudes a 100% fool. But you’re just pushing this off topic anyways. The woman lost her job because of her speech/actions and libs are fine with that. Kap loses his job and the libs cry racism.
