PSA: Support Spyre and The Volunteer Club

It hasn't been a factor because it isn't one. These didn't just become legal yesterday. Had it been, it would have been, years ago.

How could it have been? The NCAA had put every school on an equal basis by including it on it’s banned substances list. Now the legal states could have an edge.

It couldn't have been because it never was, or will be, a factor in choosing where to play.

We’re going around in circles, but you keep failing to see that the 5-star that really likes his reefer would want to go play in a state where he can legally walk into a store and buy his bag of weed instead of playing in TN (or any southeastern state) where the law makers have made it difficult to obtain). When it’s an NCAA banned substance, Michigan State doesn’t have the recruiting advantage.

So a 5star recruit would choose to go to a legal state to play vs playing here, or Bama, or Clemson, or Georgia...knowing they won't get punished for smoking ?! No.

They might if getting stoned was important to them. Those states don’t have dispensaries. While the NCAA has reefer on their banned substance list, it isn’t a factor.

But they do have winning programs, and at the end of the day, winning is the most important thing.

🤣 You're so FOS

Full of s***?

Okay, genius. What’s your take on TN laws being so prohibitive for having a weed in your possession? And while you’re at it, why can’t stores sell alcohol on Christmas and Easter (and Thanksgiving)? And not until 10am on Sundays while you can make those same purchases as early as 8am Mon-Sat? I think that it’s because those that were here first (as in EARLIER for the sanctimonious idjits wanting to jump on with the NAs were “first” comments) created the laws and there hasn’t been enough leftist support to change those laws. And the Right cherry picks freedoms based on their perceived moral superiority.

My main point is that I believe that the TN laws put UT at a disadvantage. I’m not pushing for a political debate.Legslize reefer in TN - I’m all for it.

The other point that I’ve tried to make is that UT isn’t necessarily going to be at as much of a disadvantage since I don’t think the roster has the stoners unlike when Bruce was steering the ship.
