PSA: Support Spyre and The Volunteer Club

Will will come on here every fall. Say hey come join us at such and such. I'm like why waste the money there. Use the money to pay for cruits. Let's me know you don't give money to them. I'm good with that. Spyre is using the wrong system. Shouldn't ask common people for money. Should be asking the governor for money considering he has his own locker room at Lipscomb high school. Look it up. I'm sure we could use that 3 million better at tn than his own personal lockeroom at a high school.

I see both sides on this, donating is great and I donate every month a 100 dollars but I can because house is paid off,,my car is paid off and my children are grown and out of the house so yes I can donate. On the other hand if I was still paying for my home, cars and small children at home then it might be a different answer about donating. I learned a long time ago priorities come first when my wife had our first child and I seen a pack of cigarettes cost as much as diapers I quit smoking one had to go.
My house is paid off, I’m debt free. The kids are out of the house and have been for years, but they are still on the payroll along with the 4 grandkids and I still contribute $100 per month, but I’m fortunate and can afford to.

With camp starting this week, another bigtime commitment in the books yesterday, and plenty of 4 and 5-star targets left on the board, there's never been a better time to join The Vol Club.

Not to mention that The Vol Club will be hosting tailgates at most if not all home games - as well as some road games (plus, watch for some cool stuff Knoxville if you can't make it to places like Gainesville, etc) - and members who are Checkerboard and up can eat and drink for free!

I hope this is true. And hope everyone is at least contributing $5 a month to the Volunteer Club. Its how we will be able to win championships.

THIS^^^CAN'T be said ENOUGH...for ANYBODY NOT to AT LEAST contribute the $60/year level...and the fact that LESS THAN 3,000 Vol fans have DONE SO, SO FAR...is EMBARRASSING...IMHO

I don't understand how thousands of people can spend on hours on here...addicted to UT Football, yet not donate where it makes a difference. Like a REAL difference lol!

I promise you'll feel better knowing that you're doing your part.
Time to goya and help.

We added 150 in July to get us to just over 2,850 and on pace for 3,000 easy by kickoff which has been our goal since Capt program started in April when we had 2,200 members!

Also many may say what does $5 do, our boosters who are front loading this operation with MAJOR cash, want to see the common fans join them in the fight for the players. So they are VERY interested in watching that total member number climb to know that the fans care like they do.

Not only this, but our coaches can use it as a positive recruiting tool to tell recruits that we have the collective with the largest fanbase supporting it and show the numbers that prove it. Can you imagine if we had 25,000 or 50,000 members in the Volunteer club. Not only does it provide more resources for NIL, but I’m sure it will be a positive tool when they talk face-to-face with recruits.
