I think it’s DOA. Once it’s pointed out to the masses they will have to start paying federal taxes to fund their current Dem bribes it’s gonna die quickly.

It's one of those never ending politics pushing items. There have been several yes referendums over the years. Meaning their politicians can take the next steps and start officially applying, writing their constitution to be a state (not much of a change), procedural things like that. But it never happens. Just dies until the next time they need votes.
