It was for the good of all of college football. OSU backing into the BCS championship would have been intolerable.

Purdue played OSU tough last year at the Shoe so I can't say I'm too surprised. Hopefully Tressel will realize he should give up playcalling and hire a real o-line coach. The offense has let down a very good defense going on 2 years now. Pathetic.
