Is looking like a better win all the time. I do not expect any of the blowhards on here who said that Purdue was overrated to admit that they were dead wrong. I also am laughing at the Huggins huggers who mocked me when I said that either Ole Miss or Purdue would definitely beat WVU.

Huggins group should have lost to Marquette and struggled with a bad Cleveland State team. They are not the class of the Big East and Purdue has a much better team than they do.

when you say better win all the time..... You realize Purdue BEAT Tennessee. and Im still convinced Purdue was and id overrated. You cutting down how mediocre west Virginia is doesnt help proving how overrated Purdue is.It just means they beat a team they SHOULD beat at home.

What part of Purdue's team makes them better? Rebounding? D? Ballhandling? Shooting? Execution? Did you watch the game? Did Purdue need to play well to win?

They're overrated. Bilas' Elite 8 garbage notwithstanding, they aren't making it deep. They were home playing a team that had no PG and played very poorly.

Respectfully disagree. Purdue was ranked what 8th or 9th when we played them? I think they end the year ranked that high barring an injury. They have 3 very good players that are very consistent scorers that show up every game. They certainly will lose some away games in the big ten and are missing their injured point guard but they have a very good and balanced team IMO. Nothing flashy but they execute well, don't make many mistakes and bring it for 40.

I did watch the game. For you to blame the loss on WVU not having a PG is puzzling. So Darryl Bryant is on the bench because the Big East player of the week is playing better at that position, that was seen as a strength by many for WVU! Da'Sean Butler and Devin Ebanks are stars and that size will cause problems for almost every team they play.

JaJuan Johnson was a revelation in the post. He should dominate almost everyone he faces in the Big 10.

Robbie Hummel looked every bit the future NBA player people talked about him being. 6'8, very athletic for his size and with the outside shot that Woolridge prays for every night before he goes to bed.

E'Twaun Moore was probably the most dynamic to me. He looks like he can score when needed. It was fun to watch him.

Chris Kramer is Mr. All Hustle. He plays hard nosed defense, closes passing lanes and neutralizes guards across from him.

Purdue beating us by 1 is a win for Purdue that is looking more and more like a win for our program.

If Purdue wins the Big 10 and gets a 1 seed and USC wins the Pac 10 and gets a 3-4 seed, those who forecast doom and gloom from these two losses will look stupid.

TN does not yet have its Wofford or Western KY embarrassment. Losing to Charlotte with 4 players suspended would not qualify, though I do hope we can beat them.

That game no matter the outcome will not matter come March. There is too much up in the air with the current players on our team.

The team that lost to Purdue had 4 players that they won't have in a couple weeks, or 4 players who they will have in a couple weeks who I won't be supporting. Either way, that game is irrelevant in my eyes.

Do you show up on each thread to trash the bball program?

You are wrong about the SEC being weak. You are wrong about this team not making the tournament. You were wrong before the arrests and now you are still wrong.

You know you are in a bad place when bad news happens to a team you supposedly root for and it cheers you since it may come closer to making your prediction come true.

The SEC is weak.

Maybe as the season progresses we will have beaten USC as we'll as Purdue.

Didn't know it was that easy to pick up wins. Your logic is better than moral victories.

So wait a minute, in order to prop up his "SEC isn't weak" argument, he is now claiming losses as wins?

MHF, just give up. You are wrong. It has been obvious to everyone for awhile. Good call on Arizona though.

It will be fun to show all the threads again in march...

I am sure you also know that USC has beaten UT,Arizona State and UNLV. All were ranked and everyone here said it was the worst loss in years.

Not so Much...

Purdue beat UT and WVU, neither are that good.

Yeah lots of people on here were talking up Georgia, and Auburn, and Arkansas...

Look out for Vanderbilt next year in football as well...

Are you schizophrenic?

It is beyond asinine to attempt to portray the SEC is weak by using the teams who I said from the start of the season were horrible and would have horrible years.

It is akin to saying, "The Big Ten sucks, look at Iowa." We all know Iowa sucks. We also know that the Big 10 will be better or worse than the SEC depending on the success of their middle group of teams. The SEC had some awful setbacks with South Carolina losing to Wofford, and Vanderbilt to Western Kentucky. Those losses matter because those teams have a chance to be good, but also a chance to suck. Wisconsin just beat Ohio State (a team that with Evan Turner hurt is not close to top 25 material) but they also lost to Wisconsin Green Bay.

If you make 10 predictions and you are right about 6 of them, you could man up and admit you were wrong about 4. Or you could lie and pretend you never made the 4 predictions that were wrong.

WVU did not beat Purdue.
Purdue is not overrated.
USC does not suck.

Some of the wannabe experts on this board were 0-3 on the above.

and it honestly doesn't matter if USC sucks or not. Are they as bad as a lot of us thought they would be? No. Did Tennessee have any business losing to them by 22? Hell no.
