So you're saying you'd prefer a mid-life crisis old man car to a successful engineer just out of school car... b/c I'm obviously not a "mommy."Uh, cause its a convertible. Again, you don't get it, I don't care about speed, quality, name, where it is made, I just care what it looks like, and well I'd prefer a sporty convertible to a mommy's sedan.![]()

I bought my car 3 months ago... my dad who is right around 50 went and bought a BMW Z4 about a month ago b/c he liked the speed of my car, but he wanted "sporty convertible" (ie. mid-life crisis).
Don't get me wrong, I like his car, but that in no way diminishes mine, which is far more practical.
A friend's girlfriend was talking the same as you a few weeks ago "haha, you bought a Volvo you old man!" Then she got in it... that tune quickly changed. :whistling:
I don't see those cars as mid life crisis cars. I'd rather have a convertible any day over a volvo. I don't care if you are just out of college or old, volvos are parent style looking cars! Yes they are getting better, but I don't like them! Period.
Uh yeah, we base it on the way it looks outside, I mean how many of us see the inside. I'd still base it on the outside regardless since thats what most people will see you driving. In the end I'd rather be looking hot in a convertible over the volvo! How many times do we need to go over this, girls don't care about the way it rides, they care about the looks.
Whelp. I'm done defending my purchase on here. The only one it really matters to is me, and I love the car. If I'm ever in Rock Hill you'll know it from the dust cloud you're driving through in my wake.![]()
