I'm newish. Twenty years in the future I was a big deal here. Took a vacation and my balls dropped. Stopped trying to be cool on forums. I guess it's time to be cool here again after 40?

Been good. Much like you I left the bulletin board for most of the last 15 years. Got married, moved a bunch of times, had a couple of kids... Just didn't have room in my life for the negativity that surrounded UT football during that time. Trying to be around again with things headed the right direction.

Second marriage. The girl you saw me with was my first wife. Should have never gotten married. Too young. Wrong reasons. Blah blah.
Current wife is quite a bit younger but was born to be my wife and keep me in line when I definitely would have ran off the road crashed head on into big big trouble.

I didn't leave because of the team. I left because I needed to grow up and stop living my life on a message board. Live in reality for a few years. I almost completely quit watching football completely. And not because the team sucked. I feel the people who were in charge and making hires and over the whole program. It pissed me off. I spent a ton of money for the University to take that money and spit in my face. I decided the only way to get their attention and change things was to hit their wallets. I believe it worked. For years that stadium was 70-80% full. That's a ton of money lost year to year. A lot.
Am a much bigger MMA/UFC fan now by a big margin. I don't watch anything not named Tennessee unless I'm betting on it. But this season has that special feel to it that I haven't seen since the 90s. It was very hard to not gravitate back to this team. Tons of stuff about the team to like. Great story. Dominate team that, for the first time in a very long time, wins games when they are supposed to and when they aren't supposed to.

Can we get more context on this comment? Because it kinda reads like you are saying the guys are way more attractive than the females. Just curious.
If that's what you are into, by all means do your thing. Not my place to judge.
