'25 QB transfer prospects (Joey Aguilar)

As soon as boosters are disgruntled, you’re a dead man walking.

I hope Heupel has a successful season, but this feels like a turning point for him here.
Defense is going to turn heads. They are legit. Get ready for them.

But Banks likely bolts after next year and takes some people with him. That may turn the tide for Heupel if the offense doesn’t change.

I have full faith the defense can handle our schedule well.

Finally understand what it feels like to be a Browns fan.
Following Tennessee football from 2009-2020 should make all of us understand what being a Brown’s fan feels like.

Having a coach in Heupel with a .725 winning percentage at Tennessee is something Browns fans will never have

Also for people that need to hear this…

Joey put up those stats while playing at App stat. The SEC is not in the same stratosphere as that competition. It’s wishful thinking that he’s going to come in here and learn the offense and produce at a high level.

I could be wrong, but I’m not going to sunshine pump a move that not a single person on this board would have done in December or even 2 weeks ago.

Glad it's over. This guy has at least proven he can consistently hit deep throws. He'll be super motivated to prove something as will Merk and G-Mac. We're going from a guy mostly motivated by money to guys who are motivated to win and prove everyone wrong. I'm good with that.

Hopefully now we'll see all the FF posters leave...they're bringing down the RF's property values.

It works both ways...he will have WAY better talent around him as well.

Anyone knows what Joey’s personality is? He looks cocky and confident in that pic. We could use that.

He’s actually a really good guy off the field. Has good poise on the field and doesn’t seem to get rattled.

It’s all but done but they’re still playing cat and mouse with NIL. Everyone knows Vols were offering Nico level money to some of the sitting QB targets so now it gives Joey leverage. They’re at around $1 mill for him at the moment.

And as an App grad and follower I can tell you he is not terrible as some have stated. He had a lame duck coach and no supporting cast last season.

Ah, yes. The spring immediately following the programs best season in 20 years and 1st ever CFP appearance is the turning point for Heupel

Well Heupel is about to do either do the funniest thing imaginable this season or the most tragic.

Aguilar balls out more than Nico and we win 9-10 games absolutely tanking Nico’s draft stock or we are pedestrian as hell and this QB swap is a disaster.
We will be fine at quarterback….we have the qb guru who now has options. May the best man win the job and the others be ready to go when called upon/needed. GBO!

Because there's never dumb takes from any of the RF posters 🙄

I get what you’re saying, but Cam Ward went from Incarnate Word to Washington State to Miami to probably the #1 overall pick.

Not saying Aguilar is going to do that, but guys make jumps from small school divisions to the big stage with success all the time. Hell, Incarnate Word isn’t in the same league as App State.

i'm stopping short of turning point. he did just make the playoffs.
Yeah, some of the doomsaying has been asinine, frankly.

I just wish that I saw during the offseason the same level aggression and confidence I see from him on Saturdays. I know Heup is a super-competitive guy, but that has to translate to roster and staff construction to compete with a league full of cutthroats.

I love how everyone thinks it’s so easy to convince a Power 4 starting QB to abandon his team after spring practice.
Yes, we know. Our gripe is we should have known sooner. WR should have never gotten to this point.

Oh well 'turning point.' Go get better, and hope the JG lookalike is just coincidental.
