It was never gonna be him anyways. That’s not Heupel’s MO. He’s waiting to see what Ag does at UCLA and then it’ll be him or the ND kid.For sure, one of the Illinois "insider" from their board said He isn't going to Tennessee. Also stated the coach put in his own money for restructured NIL deal to keep him. This all took place over the weekend.
- He had 80 yards passing against Michigan.
- 185 yards. 1 TD 1 INT -28 YARDS rushing vs Penn State.
Quick decision maker- albeit a lot of that was play calling. I like whoever they're OC is a Illinois.
We really need help on offense and not just players... coaching needs an upgrade on offense.
without an SEC starting quality QB, This teams floor is absolutely 6-6 even with our weak schedule. We have a true freshman (GMAC) and a redshirt freshman (MERK), both who are likely not ready to contribute significantly. How is 6-6 floor even controversial?lol. Our floor was never 6-6. Get real.
DeSean Bishop averaged 6.1 ypc last year and we have the best OL in the SEC.Name any proven playmaker on offense that we have at this point. We just lost one of the top RBs in the country, who was one of the reasons we got 10 wins last year. We also just lost our QB who was supposed to come into maturity this season, leaving us to scramble for a replacement or play another unproven at the hardest position on the field.
The defense will be pretty good, but we are paper thin at DB right now.
I’m not saying we are going to get 6 wins, but I would argue it’s a real possibility if we don’t start solving our problems at WB, WR, and DB fast.
