Bourne split from his spymasters and his American Q branch and lost access to his gadgetry. He had a microchip implanted in his arse, and the other treadstone spooks have phones that are more complicated than the Krazr.

Besides, Bond never forgot where he lives, and in the clown stomping category he has taken on everybody from Jaws to Oddjob to the Russian chick that sexes people to death. He's a clown stomper from way back.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I thought he was the guy in the trunk (and also the one that didn't leave during the opera.) Whoever it was seems to be the master villain of the master villains.
I think you are thinking of Mr. White. I believe Le Chifre was the one who held the poker tournament.

Bourne was kicking it ninja style, Roger Moore fighting was kind of funny, like if your grandpa got into a scrape

I saw it on opening night.

I liked it as much as I liked Casino Royale.

Daniel Craig is phenomenal in my opinion. To be honest, I've loved all the bond movies with the exception of the last the final 3 Brosnan movies...his first one, Goldeneye, was very good.

Craig is very different, but fits the suit well

I liked Brosnan (and the Brosnan movies,) but then I've liked all of them except Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby. The only really unwatchable moview were On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Thunderball, IMHO.

OHMSS has some very good parts but the flow is terrible. OHMSS has the best bond ally of any movie.

If Connery had done OHMSS and the Blofeld continuation is worked out you may have the best Bond movie.

Craig is Bond from the books...... hands down!

Actually I love Thunderball, I enjoyed the book a lot better than I did the film but I have no problems with it.

Did you like The Spy Who Loved Me?

It is the same story.

Since you confused me, I went back and checked a reference:

Bond Villains - James Bond Wiki

It turns out that I hated Live and Let Die, not Thunderball. My apologies to Mr. Blofeld, but I got the titles confused.

I will give you that. Craig is the Bond from the books.

Brosnan, to me, was just a smooth cat. I have a man crush on Brosnan's Bond character.

Live and Let Die was an attempt to shun out every thing Connery. The boat chase scene and Sheriff Pepper were probably the highlights of the film.

Brosnan was a victim of poor writing. Goldeneye was a good starting point although the villian was supposed to be the son of Kossaks. Also, I actually like the character of Jack Wade. Also, Zukovsky was great as an ally.

Tomorrow Never Dies never had a prayer. I mean honestly, a meglomaniac newspaper owner??????????????? What a waste of talent! Jack Wade was made into a bumbling idiot which really ticked me off. Terry Hatcher is a Bond girl??????????

Honestly, Bond girls used to Miss Univerise!

The World Is Not Enough attempted to go in the right direction but Denise Richards as a nuke expert??????? Another great appearance by Zukovsky but the villian being Sophie Mareau.......... makes me want to puke!

Then the puke bomb called Die Another Day........ sports cars with nuclear reactors and lasers and a giant death ray controlled by the original nintendo power glove.

I saw QoS this afternoon and it was decent. A ton of action, but I didn't like the plot. It's hard to keep up with at times.

BTW, I don't know what previews you saw prior to the movie but there were 3 or 4 previews when I saw QOS that were are related to the end of the world. What's that all about?

As with any thing, the lack of a strong villian.......... the emotional attachment of Casino Royale drove that movie but QOS lack of a strong villian who you could really hate really let me down.

Also, I have no idea why the revenge factor was not played up more. Diamonds are Forever is a perfect example of this. Bond being a complete bad you know what all the freakin' time.

I think QOS is on par with Dr. No, For Your Eyes Only, The Living Daylights, License to Kill and Goldeneye.
