I don't live in Nashville anymore and can't find much on the internet..
What are they saying on the radio? What direction are we looking at taking?
Draft? Trade? Any names out there of interest?

The owners and players have to come to a agreement before anyone can do anything. May be a long time before we know what they're going to do. There is a whole lot that needs fixing that's for sure.

nothing yet. they can't do anything inter-franchise or free agency related until the league agrees upon a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.

key date right now is March...i believe it's 4th or 11th? I have to check again

A draft still occurs before lockout though

I'd be really surprised if they don't take Mallett somewhere in the 2-3 round range

I'm not sure he falls that far. That'd require some pretty poor combine showings

Mallett going in the 2nd round is, at least right now, somewhat generous. I'd be shocked if he falls deep into the 3rd, but an early 3rd rounder is what I've seen projected at the moment

NO WAY Mallett falls into the 2nd round.

And LMMFAO if you think he see's the 3rd round.

What has led you to believe that Collins sucks??? So by your logic, tank a season to be able to draft a
QB that is unproven in the NFL. NIIIIIICE.

I'd much rather have Luck than Collins. I wouldn't want them to intentionally tank, but I wouldn't mind a bad record if we got Luck because of it. I don't see us going 2-14 though...

Uhh where have you been looking? If you have some NFL source, fine, but otherwise everything I've seen says first round...

Kiper has him as the 4th best QB. Considering many teams have their QB of the future, it may not be a major emphasis, dropping him at least to the 2nd round, if not later

A lot to extrapolate from one positional ranking...McShay has him as the 4th QB but still like 29th overall, and teams like Buffalo, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Washington, Minnesota, San Francisco, Arizona and maybe Carolina or Seattle need future QBs. I could see the second round, but one of those teams will almost certainly fall in love with his measurables before the 3rd

VKAman is correct. He's being projected as a 1st round pick.

I wouldn't be shocked if the JaMarcus Russell comparisons screw him over

More questions than really thoughts of how they'll go. Kerry Collins seems to be an option though. The biggest talk is it probably won't be a draft selection beings Fisher will need to win next season in order to keep his job. That's the main reason Collins is an option for next season. If Kolb or someone similar is not obtained, Collins seems like the most logical choice considering Fisher's situation and the other high needs in the draft. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Titans draft defense early in the draft and pick up a project type QB in the mid rounds. Kerry would then start next season as the #1 QB and tutor the new project QB. Only thing definate seems to be Rusty Smith is not an option.

I thought I heard 3 teams drafting ahead of the Titans were also looking for QBs. From what I heard, QBs could go quick in the draft this year.

what i've been seeing recently are just two, and there's some iffy-ness on whether they will for certain

People expect Arizona to, but there's also been alot of word that the coaching staff likes Skelton and want to give him a chance.

The 49ers seem to be believed to be the more likely of the two to draft one, but people are extremely unsure what Harbaugh is going to do...as well back and forth on the team keeping Troy Smith as its starter this season.

That all said, the Titans could be the 3rd team to take a QB (if they go in that direction), however they might just as easily be the 1st to draft one the way things stand curently
