If Elarbee is as bad as some of us think, don’t you think Cooper, Cade, and Daddy Mays would have exposed that by now?

Cade is a starter in the NFL and played under Sam Pittman at UGA when they had one of the best OLs in the country, so he probably knows what good coaching looks like. Don’t you think he probably talks ball with his bro? And isn’t dad still pretty well connected to to UT?

Seems to me like if Elarbee sucks, we’d either hear rumors of displeasure or Cooper would have hit the portal before finishing up his eligibility to improve his draft stock.

MAYBE he’s just a bad recruiter like some of the insiders have suggested but he’s still a darn good coach 🤷🏻‍♂️

I hope he is because if we’re going to stick with our smash mouth style on offense we’re going to need a dominant OL

Next season should be much better if not Heupel needs to upgrade. Karic should be back. Adding Moe who can play OG or C, Thompson who can play OT or OG. You got Sanders coming in who is the number 1 OT in the country from high school. Heard should be healthy next year as well. And you’ll have some guys with another year of strength and conditioning. Not excusing away Glenn, in fact quite the contrary. We should have a very good Oline by the end of the season next year or it’s time to make a change.

Just being realistic Heupel isn’t going to make a change at that position this year imo.

Its just fans overreacting !!

Elarbee had a bad year in pass-pro, while having historic year in run-blocking (2900 yards, 32 TDs).
Yea, he needs to improve but Kelsey Pope & Halzle need to be on the chopping block. WRs have regressed in last two years and Offense has been one-dimensional this year & mess last year

The Mays family isn’t going to say anything negative about Tennessee, at least publicly. Cooper’s stock is about as high as it can get already, so what would be the point?

That said I think what we will hear when he’s gone is that NIL has hurt some of the bonding that was in place for a couple of years.

The only issue I have with Elarbee is his recruiting. I know we signed David Sanders this year but he’s an outlier. Question, how many starting o lineman the past four years were recruited out of high school by Elarbee? I believe he’s probably a decent o line coach that struggles signing top prospects.

Merry Christmas first off... Secondly, no coach can coach a subpar player into being a great player..we need to recruit better. The impact lineman are not on our roster. We need the best linemen in the country. Not the scrubs and rejects from teams we're trying to beat.

Off topic, but like how Andre Turpentine left OSU because he was not good enough to see the field there, but now his sorry ass is here getting 💰 and STARTING for us.....🤦‍♂️

Get your head out your ass/the sand. We need the players folks. Not some miracle coach. GoVols 🍊

Fire the whole team. Apparently teams have them figured out. Hire Urban Meyer or Jon Gruden.

Not sure about that, but DO SOMETHING! I have zero confidence that this staff can win a championship. That is the charge, is it not? The NIL with everyone having Talent will expose the pretenders. Banks whiffed both times he faced real Talent. You just don't allow the QB to complete 90% on you! He doesn't even sound astute in press conferences. Rodney and Inge are much more impressive..

Elarbee needs to be fired.
Amen ...I posted about a month ago about how Elarbee wasn't up to snuff and alot of these dudes on here tried to defend him..SO, I'll say it again Elarbee sucks and until we get rid of him we're going to continue to get whipped at the LOS against top teams ..I mean, if y'all are ok with beating up on Miss St or Kent State but getting embarrassed against quality teams then keep cheering for that 🤡

Yep, when we play Georgia and Ohio State we get dominated! And we had 5-6 seniors who played a lot and still are bad against good teams. Elarbee is terrible

you cant stand still in a formation and read a defense. how many times this year did we adjust the defense with players in motion. we rare running fast sets with no motion the defense sets and that is it. The offense is too predictable and has run its course. It can be adjusted but there has been little change. Considering Nico's inexperience at reading defense's this year he could not check into the right counter.
We were fortunate to have a reliable defense this year that kept us in games.

Speaking of Sam Pittman, if Ark parts ways I'd love to have him as our O-line coach again.......Rodney Garner and Pittman!?!?!? Trenches would be sick!!!
