Question about Justin Hunter

I think they miss out on some spring workouts by participating in track and football.

Yeah, I think it makes them out of sync with the team, but obviously doesn't hurt their running and jumping skills. In the long run, we might miss out on some individual productivity, but I think it helps with publicity for the team, and helps greatly in future recruiting. So, in the long run, it can be frustrating but very much worth it.

B. Jackson, H.Walker, W. Gault
all ran against each other in track.
That was talent!

he also wants to be apart of the track and field program along with still playing football

will this be allowed or even possible to do track and field along with football?

Hot to Trot, Leonard Scott. Fastest man I have seen in orange, but he couldn't catch a lick.

I thought both Carl Pickens and Alvin Harper were 7' high jumpers. But that might have been in highschool, not college.

Coaches don't necessarily like it since track season over laps with spring practice.

I couldn't remember, but didn't Richmond Flowers also run track? ...had breakaway speed...GBO!
If you check Richmond was a track star who played football. Awesome individual and the self proclaimed "Fastest white boy alive". Once fell totally to the ground running the hurdles and finished second
