I think we still have a great shot with Brown. Don't his Mom and Dad both really like TN? I'm sure he will probably get final say in the decision, but parents can be a hard obstacle to overcome sometimes.

After all the claims on here that Adoree was leaning to the Vols because mom and dad preferred UT proved to be a lot of nonsense, I don't put much stock in what parents supposedly feel.

I am sorry but I have been following this for several years & after a while you learn to read between the lines. I am not saying that on signing day they commit but if signing day were today both Warrior & Brown are Vols. Things can change with 18 year old kids and slick talking coaches but I feel confident this is the case.

Getting Cam and Reeves-Maybin back next year makes this recruiting class look much better. 5*'s with experience !

It sure does, and getting the players we redshirt last year, plus getting Shy Tuttle back, is a pretty good year! We would look pretty good next year even if we didn't sign a single player!

For the 1st time in a long time we aren't relying on any of these kids to come in and make an immediate impact. Of course, a few will get that opportunity but it feels great having a solid returning foundation. I mean, how far back do we have to go to find the last time we had faith that our returning VOLS would form the best team in the East - let alone needing impact freshmen to ensure we could compete! Much praise to Butch on the recruiting front.

That said, finishing strong is paramount to future success. I think we land a few haymakers on NSD and finish around 12.
