What the heck do you call a major college program?? I would argue that any SEC team is a major college program, spending millions on atheltics doesnt qualify??
Your screwed up if you don't consider some of those schools major programs

I'd tighten the definition a little bit. Vandy nor Kentucky are major programs. The Mississippi schools are semi-major. Everybody else in the conference would make my major list.

So would Va Tech.

Air Force would not.

Team with some sort of reputation as being one of the teams that can fight for the national championship at least every now and then. VT had like a 3 year stretch, and they are on the way back to nowhere. I don't think they were ever anything incredbily special before or now Michael Vick.

I agree that he was about to be asked to leave. However, that was after 10 years without a conference championship and 4 losing seasons in 5 years.

I was at the OU-Texas game in '04. I've never seen a fan base that disgruntled. It made the feellings Alabama fans had for Bill Curry seem warm.

I suppose Fulmer is the only one and you'll just have to deal with it. That and vent over the internet about it. But, I'm pretty sure that MH reads these boards thoroughly and takes all of your comments to heart. Because of that, he will see the light and fire CPF.

What does that have to do with anything? A Fulmer detractor could easily claim that your arguments are worthless because they will not save Fulmer from being fired. Mike Hamilton isn't reading your posts, either.
