He will live on forever to all of the recipients of the "Dick Fick Award" on ESPN. Actually, I think he won that award more than anybody else.

I had a highschool teammate that played for him at Moorehead. My understanding is that Fick was as advertized.

He was certainly one of the more interesting characters to come through college hoops in the last twenty years. By all accounts, he was a very good man. ESPN had a really nice feature on him after his passing.
