I seem to remember LSU beating Kentucky on a last second bomb a few seasons ago. Ainge gave the Vols a better chance of something like that than Clausen. And I always say, "never give up."

:banghead: The way I see it. Clausen did give 100% when he threw that pass with one foot over the line of scrimmage. I mean, criticism goes both ways.

Mr. Clausen is an average QB, take away the ridiculous coaching gaffe at LSU vs UT and he really hasn't much in the way of production. His ability to insert his foot in his mouth is his greater talent.

At first glance, he looks like a fierce competitor, which I believe he is, but as time wears on, he comes off as a spoiled, petulant, unintelligent child who, knowing he is in his senior year, going nowhere in the NFL, and having the leverage of li'l brother Jim, combined with the Ainge Follies, has reasoned he can get away with behavior that ordinarily would be unacceptable.

I will give him an A for reading and manipulating his situation. Daddy Clausen counsels well.
