Pitching didn’t cost us the game. Too many runners left stranded on base cost us the game.
Exactly....and baseball is like that. Timing is EVERYTHING most of the time in baseball and we just couldn't get that big hit with runners in scoring position. It's a frustrating part of the game. You can literally have 27 hits (technically more just didn't feel up to doing the standard deviation on that) in a game and not score a run. Doubt it's every happened but still....you get the point. Actually i think the record is 14 hits in a game in MLB without a run scored but yada yada....

Looking at several of LSU's players last night I think I might see our problem. Our guys aren't eating enough! Talk about some girth sized plus baseball players, Holy moly! :)
