Exactly....and baseball is like that. Timing is EVERYTHING most of the time in baseball and we just couldn't get that big hit with runners in scoring position. It's a frustrating part of the game. You can literally have 27 hits (technically more just didn't feel up to doing the standard deviation on that) in a game and not score a run. Doubt it's every happened but still....you get the point. Actually i think the record is 14 hits in a game in MLB without a run scored but yada yada....Pitching didn’t cost us the game. Too many runners left stranded on base cost us the game.
