Nice.

Nice find brother, I love it!

Win today and were gonna hear plenty more. Fine by me!

We started a conversation about the possibility just before the Uconn game.
Didn't have many believers then.
Kudos for sticking with it.

Absolutely. Now we just need to finish out and here our name called on Sunday. I'm not gonna lie, if/when I see Tennessee get put on the screen I'm gonna get goosebumps, what an accomplishment they'd be IMO.

Gotta finish our business though, and that starts in about 3 hours.

"Cuonzo Martin rolled his eyes so hard he could have shifted the earth off its axis."

If I didn't know better, I'd say this would a power reserved only for Wilks, Stokes, or Norris. Intriguing CCM also has the gift...

Cuonzo is taking the right approach, one game at a time. They, the Vols, can't think about March madness lest they get sidetracked and overlook an opponent.

I'll admit I was wrong about Martin earlier in the season. I'm very impressed with what he's done with this team.

Cuonzo Martin is a class act and a very good coach. And this assertion is not based solely on wins and losses but on the fact that he's taught the kids that good defense will keep you in most any game. To their credit, almost all the kids have bought in and the results are showing up. We got a gem in Cuonzo, folks. Sit back and watch for a few years and the victories will pile up regardless of whether he recruits 5-star one'n'dones or 3 and 4-stars who are willing to work hard for what they get.

Hopefully we are all done with that NCAA bid discussion now. Replace NCAA with NIT for now althought that is slipping fast as well I fear.

Haha so we go from potential NCAA bubble team to missing the nit with one loss? Get real.

For one there still are NCAA chances, we were able to lose 1 we just can't lose another until the sec T.

For 2 this team will be in the NIT easily, please be realistic.

No it's not over one loss. It's over the season. The issue was before the last loss, the wild speculation about this being an NCAA team were rampant. They were not an NCAA team before Alabama and they are not an NCAA team today. So NO Change is the correct answer.

nobody here said ONE TIME that they were an NCAA team. all people were saying was that it was possible to make it into the dance. there are multiple teams each year that quite frankly arent ncaa tourney teams but make it, all it takes is a good little run.

i agree they dont play like one, but that doesnt mean they cant get hot and sneak in. who thought UGA was a NCAA tourney team, and would win the sec championship and get in?

Says who? You say it as if it is a fact, but outside of some little crazy circle of people confined to UT message boards, the minds of the selection committee are not readable. No one knows whether UT will actually make the tournament, but the Alabama loss made the chances go from slim to almost zero chance in my opinion. You don't get to pretend that the loss was just fine because "we get to lose one" and it means nothing. The reality is that Tennessee already lost one... And another one... And another one...

The rpi is a fact not opinion, but nice try.

You win the last 4, and then 2 or 3 and your rpi is plenty high enough.
