The LA County Sheriff's department has confirmed to Jalopnik that two people were DoA in a collision earlier today, but haven't released names.

I'm willing to bet it's a hoax. Well, maybe not. I'll wait til a reputable news source confirms.

I don't know if true because their was a hoax yesterday but it looks like it's confirmed now.

NY Daily News has it posted with TMZ being the source.

It's true. Deadline always confirms these things before reporting them, so I'm told.

I really hope this is a hoax, but I'm guessing at this point that it isn't or there would actually be an announcement that it was fake.
