Are there anymore details than what's been reported? EDIT: I found the link on Fox News that said he was a passenger in a car that crashed. Both victims were dead on the scene of the accident at around 3:30 pm local time Saturday. The second person's ID has not been released.

DVD sales for the last F&F should be high in the tragic wake of Paul Walkers death. Great actor and will be sorely missed. Prayers for his family at this time.

So sad. I just knew this was a hoax.

Does anyone have any details as to what may have caused the crash? My understanding is they had just left a charity moments before.

If that's the picture of the actual car they were in then all I can say is "Damn". Must have been going 150 mph to end up like that.

That is crazy huh. My understanding is they weren't 300 yards from the charity event.

There are better pics but I couldn't bring myself to post them. The car looked as if it went through a crusher.

The driver is guy by the name of Rodas(last name) Had some kind of ties to nascar.

The way that car looks probably is due to the fire.

Carbon fiber and flames are not a good match.

I saw in the AP write up that Walker is survived by his 15-year-old daughter.....didn't say a word about the mother of his child.

They started shooting the 7th a month or two ago, correct? I'm sure they'll go on with a way to honor him, but would be weird to not have him in the entire movie.

Yeah. What happened is a true tragedy, but I think folks are overstating the actor he was.
