These are the only two that have a chance to be right by now, and I doubt it.
This impound qualifying is silly. All the guys that have to make it in have their trick setups which won't race worth a crap and they're all up front.
Look at the top 15 right now:
1. Boris Said
2. Dave Blaney
3. Jeremy Mayfield
4. Kenny Wallace
5. Michael Waltrip
6. Scott Riggs
7. David Reautimann
8. Reed Sorenson
9. Sterling Marlin
10. Juan Montoya
11. David Gilliland
12. JJ Yeley
13. Ricky Rudd
14. Casey Mears
15. Kirk Shelmerdine
No, there haven't only been 15 cars qualify so far. That is after 39 cars have qualified.
what the hell is NASCAR doing starting qualifying in Daytona at 4pm, knowing there's going to be a thunderstorm in Daytona in July sometime that afternoon. Why not start Busch qualifying at around 10am, Cup qualifying at around 1 or 2pm, just to give some wiggle room for yourself? Some of NASCAR's decisions are so stupid.
Yep, Nascar has alot of issues they have to deal with in the off season. This is prime example why that top 35 stuff sucks. There is no reason why they could not let the last 14 qualify tomorrow. They really screwed alot of people who deserve to be there.
When qualifying is cancelled due to weather (rain or snow-i.e Bristol), then no one gets points if they picked the points leader. That's the rule and I'm sticking to it.
As some of the drivers said, they feel sorry for those who had qualified early and they weren't able to finish qualifying.
