Did anyone else feel this was a big distraction for Bray? He seemed to be trying to throw every ball 100 mph like he was auditioning for NFL scouts, this kid is not mature enough to go to the NFL yet in my opinion.

I would sure hope something as trivial as that would not be a distraction for a college quarterback.

I imagine an NFL scout would have been more impressed if he had winged one at the radar gun and destroyed it.

Garbage.

You know that, and I know that, but he nor his father, know that.

He will be a former vol this time next week

I would hope to but what I meant was he was trying to show off by throwing fast balls, how many early passes did he over throw or miss because he was trying to burn it in? I remember one he threw to Pig so hard he could not catch it.

Kidding, right? The "distraction" has always been any time Bray felt pressure. He's choked. That's all. Franklin brilliantly played on that.

No But i do believe it is like last years game at Kentucky. Bray and some players not wanting to practice and go to a crappy bowl game at 6-6.

I would think NFL scouts would be looking more for completions and making good decisions. I may be wrong.

Probably threw his arm out in warm-ups trying to wing it for the radar gun.

i found it funny that they were all over Bray saying he has this cannon arm, he hit 51 a few times. they bring in Worley and he hits one that said 55 and the person was like "well, worley apparently has an arm too"

Thought the gun was pointless though

Actually, I think Bray threw 55 and JW threw one at 51. Which was still surprising cause, JW seems to have a weak arm

I mean though, the thing about that...in baseball, when they show mph of 100, you know that guy is bringing serious heat.

But 55 mph in football? Well, I don't have any mental benchmark for that. How hard does Peyton throw? How hard does Brady throw? I don't have a clue.

So the 55 mph number meant nothing to me. At least, when they showed Worley at 51 mph, that gave you some point of reference.

So if all the other QBs in the SeC are throwing in the 40s, I guess we got us a couple of gunslingers.

I know it distracted me, because I was looking for the MPH in the right hand corner of my TV like a baseball game..so it was blowing my mind
