Radar gun

Did anyone else feel this was a big distraction for Bray? He seemed to be trying to throw every ball 100 mph like he was auditioning for NFL scouts, this kid is not mature enough to go to the NFL yet in my opinion.

Per someone who spoke with Bray after the game about them putting a radar gun on him, Tyler wasn't even aware that ESPN was doing that until someone told him after the game. It wasn't a factor.

That was a stupid piece of journalism by ESPN. They hyped Bray so hard before seeing him complete folded against Vandy.

Eh? ESPN showed footage of him being clocked in warm ups. How could Bray not be aware that someone was standing there with a gun near the spot to which he was throwing?

Because he was focused on warmups enough to not pick up on one person out of the hundreds of media, players, coaches, recruits and staff standing on the sideline? When there are 40 people with still and video cameras in a large group, one person with a small radar gun doesn't exactly stand out.

Actually, I think Bray threw 55 and JW threw one at 51. Which was still surprising cause, JW seems to have a weak arm

He doesn't. This is why people need to take the recruiting sites with a grain of salt. Their excuse for not rating Worley higher was arm strength.

Hard to believe when they had a camera behind the gun right next to who he was warming up with. The ball was caught right next to the camera
