Daily Weather Forecast for 37909 - weather.com

80% chance of rain and thunderstorms. We will likely be under a delay! I hope that wont affect the way we call plays But should make for some interesting football.
I still have our Vols by 21. :dance2:

They only consistent thing with weather forecasting is that they're usually slightly to severely wrong, and almost never 100% accurate. For example, I'm pretty sure it was like a 20% chance of rain for the Montana game a few years ago, when it poured for about 20-30 minutes delaying the game for a good while. You just never know especially with the humidity of the Spring and Summer.

I remember the Montana game and there was no pre-game program. It felt odd just to start playing the game and no running through the T.

Exactly! I remember this because it was the first game I brought my son to and I had been telling him all day about how loud the stadium would get, and how exciting it was when the Vols entered through the T, and thanks to mother nature, it never happened. I was totally bummed out for him. We had a good time still, but it just wasn't the same. Especially when you've been waiting all off season and the first game begins without the pre game festivities. I made it up to him the following year by getting us 2 tickets to the Florida game 2 rows above the tunnel Tennessee runs out of. Never will forget how awesome it was to watch the T open up from that viewpoint and the energy that was flowing through the stadium that night. Game didn't turn out well, but my son got Justin Hunters gloves as he exited through the tunnel which made his night. Me... I was bummed for days about the loss and the 4th quarter meltdown, but it was a great day otherwise for a father/son day together.

weather.com, and wbir.com show 80%... haven't checked wate, or wvlt yet.... but tropical wave in the gulf combining with front, looks like its gonna be nasty... fine with me I don't have tickets yet. Maybe it force prices down... rediculous what some people are asking for tickets.

The Florida game was when I officially turned on Dooley and joined the negavols. I had even somewhat forgiven him for the Kentucky debacle. The crowd was electric.

i know it makes for a safer field for the players, but i do miss the old mud games, when was the last time you seen both teams covered in mud and could barely tell who was who,or is it whom ?

I liked it when both teams were covered up,and the fields looked like a big mudholes by the end of the year,it was either dirt flying in a cloud or mud clods a flying
