Randall Carroll

Hopefully he'll have a chance, as will others, to meet the entire coaching staff. That will definitely wow some 17 year old football fans.

I think we're at the top of the list.

Can't wait to see this kid at the US Army Game

He just wants his coaches to be straight forward with him about his position and his role which Pete Carrol hasn't done because he brings recruits in and figures out their position and role in the spring.

I like Randall as a WR instead of a CB.

Now if only we get a QB who can throw him the ball........

We're not at the top. Cal is still above us, and we're about tied with Florida at him.

And no...Pete has told him he's a CB, and he wants to play offense.

You sir are wrong.

He's going to visit Cal but Cal isn't at the top of the list its wide open until signing day.

Pete never told him he was a CB,Randall has said he is fine with playing WR or CB but he wants to know that is going to be his role NOW not after weeks of practice in the spring.

Dude reminds me of Harvin. I hope we can get him. He's small, but from what i've seen, he can fly. We can hit him on a streak or a post, and his speed can take it on in so we can hear rocky top.

I like your thinking, but who the hell is going to throw it to him.

I'll take the chances that at least one of these NFL guys we have on staff can get one of the 3 stooges to a decent QB.

Imagine if we got Carroll, Brown, Stokes, and a half decent QB... Things are looking up (though i doubt we get all of them).

So who is likely to land the 5-foot-11, 175-pound speedster? Right now, Cal is in the lead and wants Carroll to come in and become the next DeSean Jackson. UCLA has the best chance to unseat Cal, followed by Florida, Tennessee and Arizona State.

per Rivals

I'll admit I was wrong about him not wanting to play CB. Apparently he's changed his mind, since he's heard that it's probably his best way to the NFL.

From what I've gathered, his school preference as of now is:

1. Tennessee
2. Cal
3. UCLA
4. Arizona State
5. Florida

He might just be the recruit that Orgeron has stated in the past as loving to reel in the big one around signing day...

Cal is at the top of his list. That could change with a visit, but as of right now, Cal is the team to beat. Educate yourself before you call people out.

Cal is at the top of the list because he told scouts and reporters that he grew up as a Cal fan,but then he commits to USC because he believed they could offer more and he liked the coaching staff.

He's wide open in his recruitment there are no favorites until he begins to take his visits to see if the grass is greener on the other side.

according to an interview on bearinsider:

"Cal's #1 right now. Then I've got UCLA, Florida and Tennessee.

"I like the area of the school. The coaches, I can trust all of them and they're all good, kind-hearted people."

So you're backtracking. You just finished telling a poster

The guy has already committed to one school. Why do you think he will wait until signing day to commit to another? He may, but there are no indications that he wants to wait that long.

No longer considered as "wide receiver u" / we need playmakers like this guy to reclaim the motto....go vols !
