It's different for each person, each family


yah, i'm just not big into stereotyping like saying all mexicans are nasty or all blacks are lazy or white people aren't as close to their families as other races/culutures are...

some people, grow up around their family and some people don't. i think that growing up near your cousins/aunts/uncles/g'parents builds that bond when you are young....

i was "closer" to my dad's family than my mom's. we lived on about 15-20 acres and shared the land with my dad's parents/brothers and families/gpa's sister and gma's parents and sister so i'm naturally closer to those people than i was to my mom's parents who only lived about 30 miles away.

How is it a different situation? I'm always yellin cuz or going over to my aunt and uncles house.

I'm saying that different families have different situations. another words it doesn't matter what race you are. I have a black friend with no ties to any of his siblings and vice versa
 
me and my black nephew aren't close. Not sure who's to blame for that one. All he likes to do is eat watermelons
