Naw, I was using Wilson Smart Cores today. These weren't very smart. Glad I wasn't using the Srixons.

The X-Outs arent that expensive, but I still wouldn't use them on a tough course. I usually just play with Nike's that I find on sale at Dick's.

I have four different brand balls that I've bought on sale during the winter. They are all "last year's" model. Better balls than I need. I used to use X outs but these are close to the same price on sale. Going back tomorrow but not gonna feed the lake again. I got stubborn and wouldn't play safe. Over and over.

It's Dick's on North Peters...know you like that. We have one in Alcoa now.

I've never bought Pro-Vs or X-Outs, but I've played with them a few times. The Nike balls come off the club nicely, and they're cheap.

They are pretty good for accuracy, not very good for distance. IMO

Any particular model in mind? I'm looking around the internet right now for balls on sale. Just got an e-mail flyer from Rock Bottom on new balls @ $5/doz. when you buy 3 doz.

I use the Power Distance Soft. I just googled them, $13 bucks will get you 12 balls. Last time I bought some at Dick's, I think I paid around $17 for a box.

If it will help straighten out my drive, I'm all for it. I need something. I've slowed my swing down and striking the ball better and longer with the irons. Still try to swing 200 mph with a driver. Gotta slow that down. Works for others but not for me. I was just reading the Noodle box I have and it's for a slower swing. Probably why I bought them. Plus the price.
