Any idea how much you can spend on clubs? Obviously, it's much less expensive walking. That's what we did years ago when I started. Never got a cart.

Just go to Dicks and get some good starter Irons, not ****, not good either.

Get a knockoff R7 driver with the same shaft your Irons come with, and have fun. Total investment <$400

I would definitely walk. Well now that I'm single and no plans for the summer, I have an awful lot of money in my bank account. I'm putting some in the stock market. Maybe I can throw a few hundred towards clubs.

For a starter, I will be simple and tell you to find a set of 845 Silver Scots that are about your length. Forgiving clubs, I've gone on and off and always end up back with them, they're a great Iron for a hacker.

How tall are you?

For a starter, I will be simple and tell you to find a set of 845 Silver Scots that are about your length. Forgiving clubs, I've gone on and off and always end up back with them, they're a great Iron for a hacker.

I'm 6'1 and change according to my last doc visit. I'll definitely look around. Probably gonna find a deal for something used.

I might have enough older clubs to make a set New, I'll check and see.
