Nite, JT. I'll be soon following. Not a drinker anymore although it is enjoyable at times. Glad I only bought a six 'cause I could do a double 12 tonight easily.

Football overall. Although, the last 5-6 years of UT BB has been very enjoyable.

I hate it that I've loved UT sports for nigh on to 50 years and have been thinking lately about aborting college sports because of the crap going on at some schools and how some are punished and some aren't. After following about every single NBA and pro football game since the early 60's, I quit on pro sports in the early 90's because of what it was quickly turning in to. College sports is getting close right now. I'll probably hang in for the UT sports though. Time will tell.

A friend dropped me an e-mail. I had been to some other sites that were good and slowly went south due to politics and stupidity. This one seemed to have good sports info at the time. It's still good but I don't view it the same as I did when I joined. Now, I spend much more time in the Zone than anywhere else on the board.

I'd like to see it get to a high level and stay there. I really don't see it happening, though. This, based on history. UT is not a basketball school as much as some want it to be. Best chance we had was the Ernie/Bernie days. There are some schools who will always be BB schools and some that will always be FB schools. We're the latter and will remain so.

I was the same way. I had just got out of a relationship and just needed something to do. It was near NSD and I wanted recruiting news. Stumbled upon this gem. I didn't make it to the zone until a mod moved bosgap's thread here. Don't remember how I branched out, but damn I caught hell. I think you just eased your way in; I earned my stripes.

I just think we lost all of our momentum with Bruce leaving. Doesn't matter how good Zo can coach if he doesn't have any talent to work with.

To me, the NCAA and SEC has shown their stripes in handling the Bruce situation. Also, the asshats at UT. Not very confident in the ones pulling the strings at UT anymore.

Can't remember how I fell in here. Think I might owe it to Behr. We used to comment lots on the Lady Vols games and UT games and I think he might be the one that guided me here.

I'm not a Bruce Pearl apologist, but his situation was definitely handled differently than Tressel's. I hope basketball turns back around. The tournament this year was embarrassing.

I have noticed you take an interest in them much more than most. True Vol fan, congrats.

Behr sought me out early and helped me find my first avatar. He also added me as a friend so I could look at his pretty women.

I've watched the LV basketball games since Pat came to UT. I keep up with their softball team, golf team, etc. It's just fun to watch for me. Not so for others. Lot of frustrated people wearing Orange that don't get to enjoy all that. There's more to UT than football for me. Football is at the forefront, but I do enjoy other things. Maybe others will to when the time is right for them.

I actually like watching the girls games. Softball is tough for me to watch as a baseball player. I get frustrated watching my brother playing even.

Woman's fast pitch softball is all about the pitcher. If you have a good one, it's all good. We have two. I always like playing baseball and watching baseball. Don't know what happened, but I got away from it somewhere along the line. We used to go to the games at the old Smokey stadium and keep up with the games by marking the scorecard they gave you. It was exciting but maybe just another time.
